Graduate profile
At the end of the program, the professionals are expected to have acquired the following capacities and skills: Regarding knowledge, the professional will finish the program with a theoretical and critical understanding of the urban-architectural project in an interdisciplinary way from the social, economic and environmental. With regard to know-how, professionals will be able to propose comprehensive urban-architectural projects that are efficient, viable and transcendent, based on real problems in Ecuadorian intermediate cities. With regard to knowing how to know, professionals will be prepared to propose research projects to understand, reflect and contribute to knowledge on aspects related to intermediate-scale projects. Regarding knowing how to be, the professional upon graduating from the master's degree will understand the importance of valuing diversity, heritage, public space, citizen participation, prioritizing the collective good over the individual, all of which are intrinsic aspects to sustainable projects.

Entry requirements
The program of "Master in architecture with a mention in urban-architectural project", is aimed at professionals who are interested in deepening knowledge in the field of research, design and management of intermediate-scale projects, within the framework of the current challenges of environmental, social and economic sustainability. The proposed curriculum has an interdisciplinary character; However, due to the previous skills required of applicants, it is aimed mainly at architects or professionals with skills in the conception and representation of urban architectural projects. Applicants must have an interest in aspects related to the architectural project, the city, sustainability and the urban economy. In this sense, professionals who carry out their activity in the private and public sphere may enter; as well as professionals interested in teaching and researching urban-architectural issues.
