Graduate profile

Graduates will be able to resolve paradigms of business management and accounting sciences; and to offer its qualified services in companies in the productive and social sectors, organizations, institutions and businesses linked to the private, public and independent sphere.

Graduates will be able to relate the theoretical knowledge acquired in the learning process, in addition to the legal and technical foundations related to the accounting, tax and auditing application, being fundamental within organizations for proposing strategies, designing scenarios and proposing recommendations aimed at a timely decision making.

The training will be aimed at guiding, implementing and strengthening the field of Tax Management, in order to contribute to business growth and sustainability; as well as, with the good living of society.

The program will train leaders who are competitive, creative, innovative, humanistic and sensitive to national and global reality to be change managers. Social responsibility will be strengthened, promoting the ethical behavior of professionals.

Entry requirements

Professionals whose academic backgrounds demonstrate aptitude to carry out postgraduate studies in Accounting and Auditing, and whose contribution is reflected in the strengthening of competitive professionals capable of putting into practice the knowledge, abilities, skills and values, to act in a specific context that influences in individual, social and work development.

• A third-level degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Auditing, Finance, and related areas related to studies in the business and entrepreneurial field is required.
• Comply with the registration and admission processes defined by the University of Azuay.
• Approve the defined admission process.
• An English certificate issued by a competent institution is required; however, if you do not have one, the University will take a proficiency exam on September 02 and 09.

Admission process

Applicants must pre-register on the website of the postgraduate department (https://www.uazuay.edu.ec/admisiones/posgrados/), they must load:

• Title of third degree level,
• updated CV,
• Certificate of English approval at the university you graduated from. If you do not have an English approval certificate, the UDA will take a proficiency exam between el 02 and September 09 of 2022. For which you must indicate the need to take this exam to the Director of the Postgraduate Program.

The registration fee (50 USD) must be paid through the payment button with any credit card, or at the university treasury, or by deposit or bank transfer to the following accounts:

Once the payment has been made, a copy of the receipts must be sent to transfers@uazuay.edu.ec for registration in the system.

English proficiency exams (for those who require it): On September 02 and 09, 2022

Remission of the letter of acceptance and suitability: Until the 28 of September of 2022
