The MASTER'S DEGREE IN INTERIOR DESIGN, is created to satisfy the demand of professionals who, after completing studies in disciplines related to the world of design, and complement their training in interior design, particularly that of commercial and work spaces. For the correct handling in the area of ​​solving interior design projects and giving it a distinctive character with adequate significance by intensifying the sensory aspects that characterize it (light, color, materials, textures, technology), and endowing it with the adequate conditions of functionality according to the demand of the medium in which it will be developed. It will work in a multidisciplinary way to manage the tools that allow the interpretation of commercial needs, the perspective of the space intended for commercial development, starting from the conceptualization of design.

General Objective:

Train fourth-level professionals in the INTERIOR DESIGN area, to strengthen knowledge applicable to the needs and demands of the use and reuse of spaces in order to achieve their best functionality and acquire a high level of discipline practice in order to to improve the quality of habitability of spaces, capable of producing creative projects that respond to the needs of the context in a clear recognition of culture, environment and society.

Graduate profile
  • Prepare interior design proposals, architectural proposals that highlight the importance of interventions within spaces intended for commerce, and to office spaces, workshops, industries, exhibition spaces, etc. Being professionals who generate creative concepts.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary programs, in which interior design projects, utility furniture design, architectural projects are formulated as contributions to development and technological innovation for the region.
  • Formulate interior architecture design projects, renovations, architecture projects and corporate interior design, architectural projects that respond to the needs of the cultural, environmental and productive context of the region.
  • Strengthen the technological and humanistic knowledge of interior design, which respond fundamentally to the quality of life and the conditioning of spaces inhabited by humans.
