The Master in Hydrosanitary is oriented to train professionals with technical capacity for the management, design, evaluation, construction, operation and maintenance of the hydrosanitary infrastructure that allows the use and exploitation of water and drainage systems in an efficient and sustainable way; maintaining an aptitude for leadership, creativity, and an investigative spirit to solve the challenges entailed by reducing access to basic services related to water, with a strong social and environmental commitment.

It is a professional master's degree that aspires to train professionals capable of solving the demands of the sector caused by the gap in access to basic services, especially environmental sanitation with respect to water, with critical thinking and high professional capacity, which contribute to the generation and application of knowledge, in a context of ethics and respect, that contributes to the integral development of our society.

Graduate profile

At the end of the program, it is expected that professionals will have acquired the following capacities and skills:

Regarding knowledge, the professional will finish the program knowing the theoretical foundations and main parameters that influence the sizing of drinking water and sanitation systems, the modeling of complex water transport systems, and the characterization of wastewater, as well as your treatment needs.

With regard to know-how, professionals will be able to design hydrometric works, transport systems, drainage and protection works for river banks in the face of flooding in rivers, using specialized software modeling.

With regard to knowing how to know, professionals will be prepared to conceive hydrosanitary projects in a comprehensive manner, including adequate management models in the technical and financial management of a drinking water and sanitation company.

As for knowing how to be, the professional upon graduating from the master's degree will have leadership skills, creativity, and an investigative spirit to solve the challenges entailed by reducing access to basic services related to water, with a strong social and environmental commitment.

Entry requirements

Applicant teachers must have the following profile:

Professionals with the minimum third level degree that has a registration code in the SENESCYT in the areas of:

  • Civil Engineering.
  • Hydraulic engineer.
  • Environmental engineering.

In addition, you must demonstrate proficiency in English B1, comply with the enrollment process and approve the defined admission process.

  • Certificate of English Passing at Graduate University

 

- Make the payment of $ 50 for the value of the registration, online with a Credit Card or approach the windows of Banco Pichincha, Banco de Guayaquil or Banco del Austro (with proof of payment send to email - transfers@uazuay.edu.ec to generate the invoice)
