The graduate of the Master in Occupational Health and Safety at Work is a professional with the capacity for comprehensive, conceptual and practical management of the health and occupational safety situation of workers in relation to their performance in companies, industries and institutions that are members of the different economic activities. The tools for their specialized professional work are based on epidemiological and technical methods for the analysis of work processes and environments, relating them to existing risk factors.

Their professional performance will be based on the planning, design and execution of research and prevention projects on working conditions of the working population and occupational risk factors. At the end of their studies, the professional who graduated from this Master's Degree will be able to: a) Collaborate to comply with current legal regulations, through the design, advice and direction of public, private and community entities, in the definition and implementation of policies Business in Occupational Health and Safety at Work. b) Establish risk maps, diagnoses and evaluations of Occupational Health and Safety conditions in companies, industries and institutions. c) Prepare, apply, supervise, evaluate and audit Work Risk Prevention Programs; and train business personnel on workplace accident prevention techniques. d) Design, direct and carry out scientific investigations related to subjects related to their academic training. e) Implement Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems in companies and institutions in the region and the country. f) Lead educational processes for the prevention of occupational hazards in companies, industries and institutions in the country and abroad. g) Apply their professional knowledge with high criteria of quality and professional ethics.
