The master's degree in applied mathematics is proposed in a hybrid modality, where the class sessions are offered remotely and where the student can use the learning objects available on the virtual campus to expand their knowledge autonomously. The program aims to train expert professionals in applied mathematics in various fields of science such as education, engineering, health, among many others. Even though it is a postgraduate program with a professional career, it has a strong research component, allowing participants to choose between lines related to Modeling, optimization, simulation and Statistics. The study plan considers high-level training courses, with both foreign and national professors of high prestige, and includes specialized seminars with expert tutors, to guide students in their research topic with respect to their degree projects.
