The Master's Degree in Interior Design responds to a growing demand for design and architecture professionals who, after finishing their third-level studies, wish to refine their training in the field of interior design, with an emphasis on commercial and work space projects.

The contents of the program contribute to the development of skills for a harmonic, effective and coherent resolution of the design project, by putting into play elements and tools that allow optimal conditions of comfort and spatial functionality to be achieved, focused on the particularities of the user and their environment. 

Our commitment is to train professionals capable of facing design projects in the interior space with an innovative vision and sensitivity to the significant characteristics of spaces. Strengthened by the experience of versions I and II, we renew our commitment to quality and academic rigor based on the profile of the teaching team.

Graduate profile

Prepare interior design proposals, architectural proposals that highlight the importance of interventions within spaces intended for commerce, and to office spaces, workshops, industries, exhibition spaces, etc. Being professionals who generate creative concepts.

Participate in interdisciplinary programs, in which interior design projects, utility furniture design, architectural projects are formulated as contributions to development and technological innovation for the region.

Formulate interior architecture design projects, renovations, architecture projects and corporate interior design, architectural projects that respond to the needs of the cultural, environmental and productive context of the region.

Strengthen the technological and humanistic knowledge of interior design, which respond fundamentally to the quality of life and the conditioning of spaces inhabited by humans.

The master's degree is aimed at professionals in the area of ​​architecture and design, who are interested in focusing their profession on interior design projects with an emphasis on commercial and work spaces, as well as aimed at those in the field of design who want to obtain the suitable professional and academic component in order to practice as a teacher in the area of ​​interior design projects and workshops.

Admission process

Applicants must pre-register on the website of the postgraduate department (https://www.uazuay.edu.ec/admisiones/posgrados/), here they must upload documentation such as the third-level degree, their updated CV, certificate of approval of English at the university that graduated (in case of not having a certificate of approval of English, the UDA will take an exam that demonstrates a level B1), and passport-size photo. Once the pre-registration has been made, for this, the registration must be paid (50 USD) through the payment button with any credit card, in the University Treasury or by deposit or bank transfer to the following accounts:
