The University of Azuay presents the third version of the Master in Neuropsychology. This master's degree seeks to generate professionals in the area of mental health who work and contribute to the well-being of the general population in all age groups. This master's degree is formative and investigative and covers four areas: Developmental Neuropsychology, Neuropsychology of Education, Neuropsychology of brain damage and Neuropsychology of the Elderly, which will allow students to subsequently access a doctoral program.
This program proposes to go through different theoretical currents, in order to have an adequate handling of neuropsychological diagnostic instruments, as well as basic instruments for research. With this, the principles of rehabilitation can be applied to carry out programs according to the diagnosis made. In addition, there is a strong component regarding the management of scientific research methodology, in order to generate prevention elements that respond to local and / or national needs and problems.
