Graduate profile

Law professionals dedicated to a deep analysis of the institutions and the practical application of an Ecuadorian constitutional law that, despite being in force since 2008, has not yet been consolidated, and must therefore assume specific consequences, as well as skills specialized in the framework of this new constitutional paradigm. 

Professionals with a critical vision of Constitutional Law, its institutions and procedures, will allow the necessary change to consolidate this new paradigm proposed by the Constitution of Montecristi, achieving a constitutional awareness, not only of the teachers, but of the citizenry in general, that allows material verification of the long-awaited qualitative change. 

Entry requirements

The program is aimed at third-level professionals with a degree registered at SENESCYT, in Law. 

• In the case of a third-level degree obtained abroad, it must be duly apostilled or legalized by consular means in accordance with Art.22 of the RRA.
• Comply with the online registration process by attaching the supporting documentation of the resume and detailed requirements.
• Approve the defined admission process.
• An English certificate issued by a competent institution is required; however, if you do not have one, the University will take a proficiency exam on September 02 and 09.

Admission process

Applicants must pre-register on the website of the postgraduate department (https://www.uazuay.edu.ec/admisiones/posgrados/), they must load:

• Passport size photo,
• Title of third degree level,
• updated CV,
• Certificate of English approval at the university you graduated from. If you do not have an English approval certificate, the UDA will take a proficiency exam between September 02 and 09, 2022. For which you must indicate the need to take this exam to the Director of the respective Postgraduate Program.

The registration fee (50 USD) must be paid through the payment button with any credit card, or at the university treasury, or by deposit or bank transfer to the following accounts:

Once the payment has been made, a copy of the receipts must be sent to transfers@uazuay.edu.ec for registration in the system.
