The University of Azuay with its Master in Primary Health Care will train high-level professionals who will contribute to the transformation of the reality of local health and the country, by providing comprehensive health care to the individual, family and community, another important component of the master's degree is that the graduate will complement the primary care team .

The academic plan is based on the principles and scientific advances of both family health, nursing, psychology, social work and family counselors, which, without a doubt, will allow professionals a domain at a theoretical and practical level, from the prevention to the application of comprehensive intervention plans, with the ability to form interdisciplinary teams.

CLASS SCHEDULE

Face-to-face classes the first week of each month, Friday from 18:00 p.m. to 22:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 08:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m.

Entry requirements

A third-level degree registered in SENESCYT is required in Clinical Psychology, Psychology, Nursing, Family Counselor, Social work.

  • Have a Third Level degree registered in SENESCYT.
  • In the case of a third level degree obtained abroad, it must be duly apostilled or legalized by consular means in accordance with Article 22 of the RRA.
  • Complete the online enrollment process by attaching supporting documentation for resume and detailed requirements.
  • An English certificate issued by a competent institution is required; however, if you do not have one, the University will take a proficiency exam on September 02 and 09.
  • Approve the admission process defined for this purpose.
Admission process

Applicants must pre-register on the website of the postgraduate department (https://www.uazuay.edu.ec/admisiones/posgrados/), they must load:

  • Title of third degree level,
  • updated CV,
  • Certificate of English approval at the university you graduated from. If you do not have an English approval certificate, the UDA will take a proficiency exam between el 02 and September 09 of 2022. For which you must indicate the need to take this exam to the Director of the respective Postgraduate Program.
