The Specialty is designed so that the participants critically manage the contemporary teaching-learning models applied in the university and centered on the learner and understand the teaching-learning processes with an approach focused on pedagogical mediation and the use of languages and current technological resources.
So also to design and manage educational projects in various areas of knowledge with the support of virtual learning environments and in accordance with national, regional and local development plans.
And, in the context of the Organic Law of Higher Education and its regulations and the Regulations for the Career and Ranking of the Academic Staff of the Higher Education System, so that they participate in a better way in the public contests of merits and opposition for entry as staff tenured academic and for tenured professors, their promotion of their category and rank level.

Entry requirements
The University Teaching Specialty is interdisciplinary in nature and as such is aimed at university professors from different areas of knowledge and all professionals interested in being professors at universities and higher education institutes.
Your third level degree titles must be registered in the SNIESE system.
Admission process
Applicants must pre-register on the website of the postgraduate department (https://www.uazuay.edu.ec/admisiones/posgrados/), here they must upload documentation such as their passport-size photo, the third level degree title, their updated cv.
