The Master's Degree in Mines, with a mention in Mining Planning, aims to train professionals who, based on the knowledge acquired in processes, methodologies and skills, can determine the feasibility of mining operations in an environmentally and socially sustainable manner. It is expected that the graduates of this program can take advantage of the opportunities that are presented in the national market, within technical planning, supervision and management positions, with leadership, creativity and optimization skills; in addition to promoting problem solving, through technological development with a strong social and environmental commitment.

Entry requirements

Professionals with a third level degree registered in the SENESCYT with a degree in a specific field of industry and production and with a detailed field of mining and extraction according to the RANT.

In the case of a third-level degree obtained abroad, it must be duly apostilled or legalized by consular means in accordance with Art.22 of the RRA.

Admission process

Applicants must pre-register on the website of the postgraduate department (https://www.uazuay.edu.ec/admisiones/posgrados/), they must load:

  • Title of third degree level,
  • updated CV,
