The Specialty is designed so that the participants:
Critically handle contemporary teaching-learning models applied at the university and focused on the subject who learns and understands the teaching-learning processes with a focus on pedagogical mediation and the use of contemporary languages ​​and technological resources. Design and manage educational projects in the various areas of knowledge with the support of virtual learning environments and in
in accordance with national, regional and local development plans.
And, in the context of the Organic Law of Higher Education and its regulations and the Regulation of Career and Escalafon of the Academic Personnel of the Higher Education System, participate better in the public competitions of merits and opposition for the entry as titular academic staff and for the titular professors, their promotion of their grade level.

- Understands the teaching-learning processes with an approach centered on pedagogical mediation and the use of contemporary languages ​​and technological resources.

- Integrates learning in your area with conceptual and methodological elements from other areas of university knowledge and training.

Know How: What learning outcomes related to the handling of methods and methodologies, models, protocols, processes and procedures of a professional and investigative nature will be guaranteed in the implementation of the postgraduate program?

Designs and manages educational projects in the various areas of knowledge with the support of virtual learning environments and in accordance with national, regional and local development plans.

Knowing Knowing: What learning outcomes related to epistemological horizons, cognitive abilities and investigative skills are necessary for the future practice of the fourth level professional?

He understands and integrates the current psychopedagogical and curricular currents into his teaching practice.

Entry requirements

The Specialty in University Teaching has an interdisciplinary character and as such is aimed at university teachers in different areas of knowledge and all professionals interested in teaching at universities and higher education institutes. Their third level degrees must be registered in the SNIESE system.

  • Upload an updated (formal) ID photo
  • Certificate of English Passing at Graduate University

- Make the payment of $ 50 for the value of the registration, online with a Credit Card or approach the windows of Banco Pichincha, Banco de Guayaquil or Banco del Austro (with proof of payment send to email - transfers@uazuay.edu.ec to generate the invoice)
