LEARNING THEORIES 1. General Objective: Identify the theoretical foundations that support the different practices and discourses in education, to build their position on the theories that would contribute to the social and cultural development of people. 2. General Content:

INTERCULTURAL EDUCATION AND CURRICULUM 1. General Objective: Understand interculturality as a lens that crosses the educational system and transcends ethnicity and culture. As a proposal based on the dialogue of knowledge that enriches the curriculum, contextualized teaching and learning processes. 2 . General Content:
* Intercultural pedagogy.
* Education and diversity.
* Curriculum, knowledge and educational transformation.

METHODOLOGIES OF RESEARCH IN EDUCATION 1. General Objective: Share tools for the scientific research process in the area of ​​education. 2. General Content:

TEACHING IDENTITY AND EDUCATIONAL PRACTICE 1. General Objective: Reflect on the meaning of teaching in the Ecuadorian context, highlighting its different roles: professional, political and social from an equitable and democratic approach. 2. General Content:
* Professional role of teaching.
* Constructivist theoretical and didactic principles in the classroom, from the sociocultural approach.
* Different scenarios of educational action in the country. Rural, popular and urban education.
* Political role of teaching.
* Sociology of Education. Theory of reproduction (Pierre Bourdieu and Jean Claude Passeron, critical pedagogy).
* Social role of education. Strategies to improve assertive communication with parents, among colleagues and with authorities.
LEARNING ASSESSMENT 1. General Objective: Recognize and use evaluation as an essential tool of the educational process to optimize pedagogical practice and achieve the proposed learning. 2. General Content:
* The different paradigms and models of educational evaluation and their implications at a social and cultural level.
* Characteristics and technical requirements of the evaluation procedures, according to the stages of the process.
* The national educational evaluation system.
* Learning evaluation instruments.
DEGREE SEMINAR
* Academic writing styles.
* Required formats.
DEGREE WORK Identify and develop a significant problem that is related to their teaching practice and propose alternative solutions based on a dialogue with internationally recognized academic literature and present in the current academic debate.
EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP 1. General Objective: Reflect on leadership in the direction and management processes of educational institutions, from a critical, participatory, transformative and constructivist perspective. 2 . General Content:
* Theories and models of socio-educational leadership.
* Selection and evaluation of educational leaders.
* Management of the teaching team (motivation, relationships, capacity building).
* Schools, citizenship and social participation.
MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATION OF EDUCATIONAL CENTERS 1. General Objective: Develop skills and abilities to work collaboratively in educational institutions and implement organizational and management variables conducive to analyzing reality, identifying critical nodes and educational problems susceptible to change and improvement. 2. General Content:
* The paradigms that challenge the contemporary school.
* Roles and functions of educational management.
* The educational project and the community.
* The organization of the learning environment.
* Virtual educational organizations: educational prospective.
* Research on the organization and management of educational centers.
ADMINISTRATIVE AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT 1. General Objective: Direct and control the financial, administrative, human resources and activities of the institution in accordance with the relevant laws, rules and regulations. In the same way that it manages the institutional budget, in accordance with the programs and projects in accordance with the mission and current regulations in the national territory. 2. General Content:
* Normative.

* Budget preparation, execution and evaluation.

EVALUATION OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS 1. General Objective: Implement processes and comply with the regulations established by the MINEDUC, around the evaluation of educational institutions and teachers, once these allow strengthening institutional development and advancing in the generation of knowledge mediated and guided by some national criteria. 2. General Content:
* Standardized models of educational management and quality: EFQM, ISO, others.
* Institutional evaluation: trends, orientations and modalities.
* The evaluation of public, private or non-university institutions.
INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS 1. General Objective: Analyze, plan and design institutional improvement projects, assessing the need to innovate methodologies and practices that promote collective participation, cooperative learning and social responsibility. 2. General Content:
* The school as a laboratory open to innovation. Research as a basis for educational innovation.
* Art and aesthetics in education.
* Innovation and complexity in educational projects.

Professionals with third-level university degrees, preferably in the field of education.
