The master's degree in applied mathematics is proposed in a hybrid modality, where class sessions are provided remotely and where the student can use the learning objects available on the virtual campus to expand their knowledge autonomously.

The program aims to train professionals who are experts in applied mathematics in various fields of science such as education, engineering, health, among many others. Even though it is a postgraduate program with a professional career, it has a strong research component, allowing participants to choose between lines related to modeling, optimization, simulation and Statistics.

The study plan considers high-level training courses, with both foreign and national professors of high prestige, and includes specialized seminars with expert tutors, to guide students in their research topic with respect to their degree projects.

Graduate profile

The profile of the graduates of the master's program in Applied Mathematics is defined by the training of professionals capable of innovating and applying the acquired knowledge to practice, being able to mathematically model real-world problems through specialized software and provide solutions for decision-making. of decisions.
