INTERCULTURAL EDUCATION AND CURRICULUM 1. General Objective: Understand interculturality as a lens that crosses the educational system and transcends ethnicity and culture. * Identifies and develops a significant problem that is related to their teaching practice and proposes alternative solutions based on a dialogue with internationally recognized academic literature and present in the current academic debate.
FUNDAMENTALS OF ONLINE EDUCATION 1. General Objective: Integrate the theoretical foundations of online education based on techno-pedagogical models with an inclusive approach. 2. General Content:
* Contemporary contexts of online education.
* Technopedagogical models.
* Principles of digital learning.
* Digital skills for learning.
MANAGEMENT OF VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS 1. General Objective: Integrate the models and principles of techno-pedagogical design for the management of virtual learning environments. 2. General Content:
* Virtual learning environments: definition and typologies.
* Technopedagogical/instructional design: models and principles. -Didactic communication in online education.
PLANNING ONLINE LEARNING 1. General Objective: Develop and apply virtual learning objects and digital educational resources through a process of analysis, design and construction that strengthen student learning. 2. General Content:
* Definition and characteristics of the virtual learning object.
* Planning and design of the virtual learning object
* Definition and characteristics of the digital educational resource.

DESIGN OF VIRTUAL LEARNING OBJECTS AND DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES 1. General objective: Develop and apply virtual learning objects and digital educational resources through a process of analysis, design and construction that strengthen student learning. 2. General Content:

Entry requirements

Professionals with third-level university degrees, preferably in the field of education. 

Admission process

Applicants must register on the Postgraduate Department website: www.posgrados.uazuay.edu.ec  They must upload: passport-sized photo, third-level degree, identity card and updated CV.
